Have you played the Gears of War franchise? The campaigns are incredibly diverse in their level design and unlike some franchises aren't completely driven by set pieces. Also, you might find playing the game on Insane Difficulty provides a greater sense of tension in combat. The diversity of the enemy types alone prevents the campaigns from becoming stale...
I've been playing the Gears of War franchise since the release date of the original and am an absolute fanatic (So much so that after my 360 broke a week prior to the launch of Gears of War 3 instead of sending it off to be fixed I went to the midnight launch and purchased the Gears of War 3 Limited Edition Console because I didn't want to have to wait to play it along with the Epic Edition (Of which I'd Pre-Ordered) and the season pass). For me, I'd hate a Pendulum Wars game,...
I eagerly anticipate some gameplay information, hopefully this third installment is more open than it's predecessor but the box art looks sublime. Crysis 2, whilst a great game, didn't have that sense of expansive landscape an diversity in approach as the brilliant original title...
I'm looking forward to seeing some HUB Location gameplay, after seeing the improved, awesome level design and intense combat, now we just need confirmation of other improvements, I'd love to see side-quest's available in HUB locations potentially branching into other locations within the Metro. I'm really anticipating both this title and more information/gameplay.
I'd rather buy the game and some fashionable clothing.
This sounds terrific, an intriguing, innovative concept for a truly engaging and hardcore gamers title for handheld devices, I'll definitely be donating to Republique's Kickstarter Campaign...
Correct, he does, however, they never truly come into fruition. Molyneux is a brilliant innovator and can devise some magnificent concepts for games, however, he never manages to achieve a satisfying result for the level of hype produced for his game...

Great review.
Personally Mass Effect 3 was a disappointment, it failed to meet on the promises lingering from the original title, as the second did also. Characters of who survived in the previous titles made only brief cameos and the gameplay further tilted towards shooter even more, being someone of who has been playing the Gears of War series since the release date of the original, I have higher expectations for third person combat and on purchasing Mass Effect 1 on releas...
Quote from IGN (Who have actually seen the game): "Atmospheric, innovative and completely unexpected, Lost Planet 3 has catapulted itself onto the list of games to watch for 2013 on the strength of a single demo."
Even I'm surprised but I'm glad to hear they've proven themselves capable of developing both a good game and this sequel.
IGN have been singing Lost Planet 3's praises, they stated that the demo shown to them was innovative, creative, and brilliant and claimed that it is already looking to be one of the best games of 2013.
They haven't had the budget of a Capcom title before and with the original Lost Planet development squad helping them the game is sounding magnificent.
This is a mixed bag, some of the screenshots look fabulous and some not so much. My anticipation for this title is relatively high, I loved its predecessors but with Spark Unlimited developing the third installment I'm cautious as to whether they can handle it's development...
I wish Capcom would refrain from throwing their franchises to other developers.
Milk? There's been 2 Lost Planet games since 2007, 2 Mercenaries Games over the past 2 Console Generations, Splinet Cell radically chained in it's last game, therefor being the opposite of milking as they spent time developing the game.
Well, being somebody who loved this titles predeccessors I'm seriously excited for this title, unfortunately Spark Unlimited's track record isn't great, but, hopefully this'll receive stronger input from Capcom than Resident Evil: ORC did...
The cluelessness of some of the Agreeers/Disagreeers and commentators replying to my statement is astounding, I wasn't claiming Rage to be the greatest looking game this console generation, nor was I stating it to be the limit of this generations potential. My comment was in reply to Gravelord's mindless statement that he, "unlike most people" "knows the limitations of current consoles", after claiming he'd prefer lazy unrefined graphics running at 60FPS over a...
You know the limitations of this console generation?
RAGE says hi.
Armor Lock hasn't been re-confirmed to be making a return in Halo 4, Weapons dropping into the map in pre-determined destinations prevents camping, as does Forerunner Vision. Many games have incorporated precedires to help lesson the gap between skilled and unskilled players, but this doesn't results in a shift of win/loss, the pro's are still going to outplay the unskilled players and primarily the game is still, at it's core, Halo, and will play so. Also, the Battle Rifle, t...
How the hell is this like COD? Weapons dropping into the map in random locations, Armor abilities, strategic respawning. Some people just aren't accepting of improvements. Surely it would be more resemblant of COD if it stayed the same each year like seemingly many people want for some strange reason...
When initially announced, the game was projected as being a tactical horror survival game, with the commands of games such as Rainbow Six, you were able to order people to wield doors, use certain weapons, heal teammates and more, unfortunately, the delays have caused this game to be stripped down and now it, unfortunately, looks like a generic shooter...
Hopefully the game will be closer resemblant of Crysis 1's exploration, I'd love an open world with non-scripted enemy positioning, making each turn in the road unpredictable. Hopefully the Aliens aren't as prominent figures as they where in 2 and more in the style of the originals design, smaller Alien opponents for simple battles and huge aliens wreaking havoc on their environments for the more spectacular set piece moments... I'm excited nonetheless.
